This course covers the same modules as the Basic Fire Safety Course, however with extra tailored information to suit care, home employees.
This e-learning is an effective way for you as an employer to fulfil your legal obligation in providing your staff with a sufficient understanding of fire awareness. The Regulatory Reform Order 2005 applies to nearly all workplaces in the UK and all employers must provide sufficient fire safety training to all employees within a care home.
This basic fire safety awareness course is targeted at all employees, to help them recognise the risks that fires can pose and help them to reduce these in the workplace.
Our awareness course will give delegates a basic understanding of fire awareness: what actions should be taken in the event of a fire, how to prevent fires and a basic introduction to how to extinguish a fire.
E-learning is a cost-effective method for employers to fulfil their legal obligation to give their staff a basic understanding of fire safety awareness.
Our basic fire safety awareness course briefly discusses why fires start, what you need to do to prevent them and if they do start what you need to do. Furthermore, by completing this course and implementing what it has taught you, your workplace will become a safer environment.

On successful completion of our course, you will be emailed a safety training quality assured certificate. This can be used to provide evidence for compliance and audit.
