Our course is ideal for managers and staff in all industries who are involved in reducing drug, alcohol and substance misuse in the UK.

Our course begins by discussing official statistics about the scale of drug and alcohol abuse in the UK. It will then go into detail on commonly used drugs, including cannabis, cocaine, heroin, LSD and ecstasy. Turning to alcohol abuse, you will learn how to introduce a 4 stage plan to deal with any potential problems, this includes: how to write an alcohol and drug policy.

Furthermore, the course moves on to how the Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service (ACAS) can assist you with effective alcohol and drugs policies. Finally, it looks at current treatments and outside support available.
