Food safety combines a number of practices to reduce health hazards. These include premises hygiene, personal hygiene, risk control, pest control and waste management.
This level 1 course is about minimising the level of potential hazards in a food retail setting.
Our course is ideal for delegates who are new employees with minimal or no prior food safety knowledge, Employees handling low risk or wrapped foods (category A), Front of house employees such as waiting or check out staff and Back of house employees such as kitchen porters or warehouse staff.
In addition, our course requires minimal to no pre-existing food hygiene knowledge. Our course has also been designed to educate individuals who don’t work directly with preparation or the handling of food but who work in an environment where food is handled elsewhere.

Food Safety Legislation, Hazards from Delivery to Service, Risk control (Prevention of Contamination), Pests, Premises and People.
Certification
On successful completion of our course you will be emailed a safety training quality assured certificate. This can be used to provide evidence for compliance and audit.
This course is approved by RoSPA, & CPD as conforming to universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines.
