Whilst our course will provide you with a qualification in its own right, it can also form part of your CSCS green card application.

The course begins by discussing the legal aspects of health and safety, covering the basics of risk assessment and safe working practices. Furthermore, it details the most common hazards that occur within the construction industry, such as working at height, respiratory hazards, electrical hazards and chemical hazards.

Introduction to the subject, Risk assessment and controls, Slips, Trips, Falls, Working at height, Manual handling, Noise, Respiratory risks, Fire, Electricity and Gas Safety, Chemicals, Vehicles, PPE, General safety and your pathway to the CSCS card.

Please note this Level 1 Health and Safety in a Construction Environment course provides the training required to proceed with the invigilated exam which is a separate charge, payable once training has been completed.
