Food safety combines a number of practices to reduce health hazards. These include premises hygiene, personal hygiene, risk control, pest control and waste management. This level 2 course is about minimising the level of potential hazards in a food catering setting.

Our course is tailored to suit anyone working in a catering, manufacturing, or retail setting where food is prepared, cooked and handled. Typical work place enviroments include: Pubs, hotels, restaurants, supermarkets, retail enviroments, food and drink manufacturers, hospitals, care homes and schools.

In particular our course is suited to most people working in the industry; specifically food handlers who prepare and serve food directly to the consumer.

Food Safety Legislation, Hazards from Delivery to Service, Risk control (Prevention of Contamination), Pests, Premises and People.


On successful completion of our course you will be emailed a safety training quality assured certificate. This can be used to provide evidence for compliance and audit.
