When a Food Safety Inspector visits your premises to conduct an inspection, they will provide you with a rating under the Food Hygiene Rating Scheme.


All food handlers should aim to ensure that they are doing everything possible to ensure that their business achieves and maintains the highest rating possible, to subsequently increase customer confidence and as a result loyalty. Therefore, our course explains the areas you need to consider to achieve this aim.

Who Should Take This Course?

This course is suitable for all managers and supervisors, and food handlers who wish to gain further knowledge of the Food Hygiene Rating Scheme on food premises and are looking to achieve the highest food hygiene rating score. There are no prerequisites to the course, although it is recommended you have a good knowledge of food safety and hygiene procedures alongside this training.


On successful completion of our course, you will be emailed a safety training quality assured certificate. This can be used to provide evidence for compliance and audit.
